Things I Have Learnt in England

1. If you let Enya hum long enough, bees will come all confused, thinking that she's a bee too

2. The sun has lazy angles...

3. At 7 or 8pm, the sun's angle will lazily bring all the light that hasn't been shinning during the day, all compressed in 10 minutes of incredible magical intense enchanting light.

4. The weather forecast is a humorous moment almost everyday. The conversation between the news presenter and the weather man goes: "Well, today we started with a pretty awful picture, but is there room for hope?" And the weather man says: "I'm afraid it's going to get worse in the next few hours...." Or, instead of saying that it's raining cats and dogs absolutely everywhere, they say "there are some dry patches here and there" (yes, well, but one is the Sahara desert, in Africa, and the other one is Mexico.)

5. Trains are late. But people are patient.

6. Bars are not as packed as in SS, but waiters are so slow it is incredible that people get so drunk. Then again, people are patient.
